I write and illustrate books for children.
I also create illustrations for magazines, notecards, posters and t-shirts.
Currently I am focusing on black-and-white work, but if you scroll back to my earlier posts you will see my full-color art.
I create woodcuts and also use scratchboard and digital media.
My work is in galleries in Missouri, Illinois, and Minnesota. I am a longtime member of the Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and have won numerous awards from that organization and others.
